Evidence and research status
OpticalDT separates documented historical work, current validation, and planned future work.
Phase I success criteria
The proposed minimum criteria include a two-input contrast of 10:1 after calibration, four-input logic with at least three measured functions, at least three cascaded stages with output contrast of 5:1, and repeated independent series with published methods and data.
Risks and limitations
Phase stability, contrast and SNR degradation, insertion loss, crosstalk, calibration time, detector bandwidth, and repeatability can limit a passive cascade. Critical failures and material delays are intended to be published directly.
Publication policy
Public reporting is intended to include experiment identifiers, configuration records, raw and processed CSV data, oscilloscope traces, spectra, calibration curves, laboratory photographs, technical reports, and pass/fail conclusions.
